Naphthol Blue Black is used for protein and nucleic acid stain in SDS-PAGE gels. It is also used for histones and orosomucoid.
Product Description
Naphthol Blue Black is an acid disazo dye that is made by coupling one mole each of p-nitroaniline and aniline to one mole of tetraazotized 8-amino-1-naphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid (H acid). The p-nitroaniline coupling is accomplished at a pH of 5-6 while the aniline is coupled at a pH of 8-10.
